UNDER ARMOUR | PRODUCT FILMS
Role | Sr 3D Artist & Designer
To showcase their latest product lines, Under Armour required three distinct films. In the early stages, I was responsible for providing technical direction to the modeling team in preparing the client-provided CAD and KeyShot files for production and rendering. My role spanned the entire pipeline, including reference development, 3D animation, simulations, and 2D design - every choice reinforcing the agility, speed, and elite performance of each product.

The three films were crafted with an array of media & assets. This is a cutdown combining the most exciting elements of 3D motion & design from all three films. Enjoy the Sizzle!
Though the brief was for three succinct films, I took it upon myself to verify the content was scalable & dynamic enough to span the test of a full campaign, thus ensuring it was future-proof, versatile, & impactful.
The amount of behind the scenes development, exploration, & thought required for these three films might be surprising! The process started with CAD & KeyShot files. Preparing the client-provided assets for production, dynamic/particle/cloth simulations, retexturing, & rendering was the first step. I worked as the Lead Artist to direct the talented modeling team in this process - streamlining & keeping the pipeline time & cost efficient.
Driven by technology & innovation - each of the three films developed it's own visual style & language. Differences between color, contrast, UI elements, & negative space helped to differentiate the three films while also bonding them into a cohesive visual family.
Thank you for taking the time to check out some of my process behind the work!
